The Bar

Introduction: The outline for this assignment was telling a story about two best friends who have a argument about something and a resolution in the end. Chris and Pat could be either girl names, boy names, or one of each. In the case of my story Chris and Pat are both girls.

Chris and Pat were sitting at a bar relaxing for a little after work fun. Chris and Pat had been friends forever, inseparable since they were kids. That was until a cute guy sitting at the bar across from them seemed to be giving them a look. Pat was sure he liked her and was giving her the look, although Chris thought that he was into her, not Pat.
"He was definitely staring at me," Chris said.
"No, he was looking at me," Pat protested.
They argued back and forth for a while, both believing the cute guy was into them. Being best friends they made a pact to never let a boy get between them, but that didn't stop them. Then suddenly another cute guy comes up and gives the first guy a kiss. He was gay. Chris and Pat looked at each other and started laughing hysterically. Any time that they started to fight over a guy they just pretended he was gay so they could avoid ever letting a man get between their friendship.
